Our calendar is always busy with fun filled events ranging from themed
days ,trips, topic related visitors, including the police and fireservice, to
charity fund raisers.

Food is an important part of our Nursery life. We have an experienced
cook who produces an exciting tasty menu made from locally sourced
fresh produce. To encourage children to taste a variety of food we
regularly hold themed days which have included Dutch, Italian, Indian,
Chinese and French.

The children from age one wear a Nursery Uniform. We find this has
a calming effect and helps them to settle and certainly helps parents
whilst saving home clothes.

Apart from formal Parents Consultation Evenings we operate an open
door policy and have a thriving and supportive parents committee. We
hold regular Acorn Afternoons where both new and prospective children can enjoy the facilities and become familiar with the Nursery setting, while parents can meet and enjoy a cup of tea.
