Toddler RoomThe Toddler Room has a wide variety of toys which encourages your child to develop and learn through play.
On a daily basis a variety of different activities e.g. collaging, painting, drawing, baking, playdough, sand and water are available. |
Throughout the day the children have free flow to the outside area whatever the weather. Children will need suitable clothing for all weather conditions.
We have a healthy menu on offer and can cater for most dietary needs. We offer breakfast in the room from 8am till 9am which consists of a variety of cereals.
At 10:00am we have a light snack in the room; we have a variety of snacks on offer.

We have lunch at 11:30am in the toddler room and this is a social time for the children. The children sit at the small tables in the room.
The practitioners sit amongst the children encouraging them to feed themselves however help is always on hand.
We have a snack of fruit or salad sticks around 2:00pm.

At 3:30pm we have a light tea in our room where the practitioners sits with the children helping. This is a social time.
During the day the children are able to sleep when needed. Most of the children sleep after lunch. The children lay on cushions and are comforted by practitioners until they fall asleep. The children can sleep for as long as they like unless requested otherwise by parents.
A drink of fresh water is always available to each child throughout the day. We ask parents to provide a none spill feeding cup that your child would recognise.
We try to meet all the individual needs of each child, to ensure that they are happy and enjoy their new environment.
